The power of choice provides us a freewill path in life which God ordained since the beginning of His earthly creations (Gen. 1). Evil being part of fallen humanities sin. Sad to say, there is much evil that exists in the world in which we live, much to our sorrow.

The good news is that God in His Holy sovereignty paid sin's sacrifice as His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, shed His blood on Calvary's Cross (John 3:16-17). The Lord has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into God's Kingdom (Col. 1:13). In Jesus, we have redemption and forgiveness for our sins (Col. 1:14). Whom God sets free is free indeed! (John 8:36).

In heaven there is no evil. In order to get there, we must accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, resist Satan, who flees when he can't get us to indulge in the many temptations snares he sends our way (James 4:7). Successful sin resistance emanates from successful submission to God. Obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Sam. 15:22).

As we learn to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, we learn to not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage and the evil sin produces (Galatians 5:1).
