GOD, LOVE, AND SEX:  "GOD CREATED SEX, AND SEX IS GOOD WHEN EXPERIENCED GOD'S WAY" - (Hebrews 13:4; Proverbs 18:22)

Many people whose past is filled with vast pain and sorrow, live a  life that has been difficult to cope with and endure.   Having deep seated  emotional issues that need to heal they often turn to sex for a quick love bite cure.   While there are those who shout,  "Lets make love, not war!".  One must remember there are serious,  spiritual, emotional, and physical consequences when having causal sex.     

The question thus posed:  Does sex help erase stress and anxiety, easing problems away?  

For  some it does,  as sin is always fun for a season.  However, within the  spiritual realms nothing could be further from the truth.   While Satan, the destoryer  wants  you to have all the causal sex you want! (JOhn 10:10).   God wants us to refrain and  control our desires, uniting in intimate sexual union, with one born as man  (husband), with one born as woman ( wife) in Holy matrimony. 

As  it is often said, Men look for sex and find love.  Women looking to be  loved, often have sex.  Sex used to satisfy the emotional needs within  one's heart, will always fall short in providing the true love the soul  and spirit craves.  While all other sins a man or woman commits are  outside his body, those who sin sexually, sin against their own body (1  Corinthians 6:9-10).  

 Venereal disease being one such result.   Abortion, illegitimate pregnancies and unwanted births, to name other  physical consequences.  The emotional consequences are vast.  Shattered  hearts and depression can bring about a download of spiritual  oppression for those caught in the vice grip of personal rejection after  having causal sexual intercourse.  Such soul ties bind up  the mind, will, and emotions, into a deep pit of despair.  Each  rejection felt can serve to become  a slow drip torture of suffering, until the water dam  breaks and the tears fall.

I know one woman who personally got involved sexually with a very  self-centered man, and realizing her mistake severed their relationship.   A few days latter, after his constant courting and her repeated  rejection, the young man called her to his home to hear him out.  He  promised if she listened to what he had to say, he would never bother  her again.  She reluctantly complied with his requests.   He then  talked about  how much he loved her, could not bare to live without her, pulled out a  loaded gun, then shot and killed himself.  

Her emergency 911 call and the urgent  medical attention he received, did not save his life.  I counseled this  young lady for several years, as friend and mentor.  This is not the  only such isolated case I have counseled concerning  the sex- love  and rejection - suicide link.   Rejection after having had sex with someone is not uncommon.   As sex has become a  social activity for many, without strings attached.   Friends with  benefits, being one such claim.  Some sexual partners are up-front about  their goals.   One night stands when mutually agreed upon, being more  common as societies culture morals wane and decline.  Yet, in  the secret depths of the soul the desire to be loved remains steadfast and strong.  

Many such  lost and troubled souls  feel abandoned, unloved, confused and uncertain, filled with  deep seated remorse,  pain and sorrow.   As the sad plight of having  causal sex ever lingers the  thrill of the love bite calls.  When the false sense of "Hot Sex Now"  wanes, and the high of sexual conquests fail, it can often lead one to  feel like a lost and  lonely alien in this world.  Hence the popularity of Internet dating sites and the addictive cycle to find love in all the wrong places.   Technology strongholds have thus become a deep pit addictive sway for many (visit Synthia Esther Ministries outreach website: www.techchronicity.com to learn more).  

 Sex outside of God's will and  plan (the Holy bonds of marriage),  creates a thirst for soul  satisfaction, that no one person seems to able to fill.  In the absence  of any semblance of love,  overwhelming feelings of regret remain strong.  As sins  false sex equals love course dichotomy is  both deceptive and destructive.   Often leaving one feeling depressed in the after take.   

 As such,  many people  build a wall around their heart  and keep at a distance all those who  attempt to open the gate, or climb the wall to get to one's inner court  of feelings.   All the while their  deep set and seeded emotional, intimate needs and desires remain  unfulfilled.  True love waits, says God, and for good reason - (1 Corinthians 7).   Guard your heart, follow the way of Christ, and be blessed.  

Only God can complete you! (Colossians 2;10).    For, God is love (1 John 4:8).   And God  in His love did not create us to have sex and  procreate like animals.   Humans are the only  creatures created by God, that face each other when in the intimate,  missionary position of having sex and making love.   Bonding  with the one you love is a God designed,  infused blessing.   Sexual intimacy  being a gift, filled with spiritual wonder. 

Jesus Christ our Lord   sent me to tell you that He Loves You! - (John 3:16-17).  And it is our  Holy Father's desire to give you a life filled with blessed hope and eternal future - Jere. 29:11.  When you give  your relationships and sex life to Jesus Christ, and seek His word,  will, and ways, you will grow to love the spiritual things of God more  than the physical, fleeting thrill of sexual temptation.  In one word,  you will know "love". As you grow to feel and experience the joy of  God's true ever lasting "love".   You will know love beyond measure for God is Love (1 John 4:8; 16).  His love  being limitless and liberating (Matthew  28:20).
