 God  is love.  When we strive to fill our heart's longing God's way, we  achieve the love, intimacy, and satisfaction, He ordained and our spirit  craves.  Spiritual growth begins as we learn to trust in Jesus Christ  to meet all of our relationship needs.  "That Christ may dwell in your  hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able  to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and  depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ which passeth  knowledge, that ye be filled with all fullness of God." - Ephesians  3:17-19, KJV

There are many people who are looking for "the one" to fulfill their dreams of a  love match made in Heaven.   I knew a man who was so lonely, he spent thousands and thousands of dollars consulting with a psychic on a 900 telephone hotline, costing dollars per minute just to talk to her.  This "Psychic Suzie" (not her real name), provided a listening ear, and faked counsel from the supposed  spirit world, confirming  who, when, where, he would meet his "twin soul flame mate."   A God sent match  made from heaven.  After years of paying for Psychic Suzie's advice, he finally gave up on her  fake line double talk, and gave his life to Jesus Christ (John 3:16). 

However, I am sad to admit, he did not change his needy ways, and  turned his attention to yet another women who lived outside the USA, that he met on an Internet Christian forum, chat room.  They converse often, and daily, claim unconditional love, though they have never met.  What's this guys problem?  He is lonely, lacks confidence, and readily admits it.  Rather than work on himself, he has sought an easy, alternative relationship, that serves to satisfy his physical intimacy whims.

As for seeking relationship and love advice from a 1-900 number, psychic telephone hotline counselor?  The Bible makes it clear, nothing good can come from such a deceptive, demonic source.  Born again Christians  must not look for otherworldy spirit contact to "direct and guide them."   Those who do  so,  will be defiled by way of their dark connections (Lev. 19:31).

END TIME RELATIONSHIPS - IN THE END TIME HARLOT CHURCH

Isaiah 4:1, "And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach."   At first glance one would think this biblical verse pertains to the last days, where many women, will vie for a few remaining men.  And be willing to claim hold to a man, have children, and a family, at any cost.   However, some theologians calm that this verse concerns the harlot church, bride of Christ, falling away in the end times.  I claim both, dual reasoning being, many churches and people have turned away from God, serving their own selfish desires when seeking another person to fulfill relationship longings of the heart only God can fill.

From the book, "If God is in Control, Why is My Life Such a Mess?", Michael Youssef, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1998, page 212, one can read a well focused, wise, Biblical response to our problems in life:  "If your life is a mess right now, ask God to show you why.  It may be that you are suffering through the consequences of past sins or mistakes you have made."  

Youssef goes onto confirm God's instant forgiveness... which does not automatically void the repercussions of our freewill choices in life.  Though God allows us to "endure" the difficulty we bring upon ourselves, He goes with us through the process, and sees us through.  "If you let Him be in control of the situation and ask Him to show you HIs purpose for your life.  He can and will work out every situation for your good, even when you have failed miserably." 

 Repent, turn to God, He won't let you down!

GOD IS OUR SOUL MATE - OUR SALVATION MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN FOR ALL ETERNITY (JOHN 3:16).

Our true soul mate in life is God, Jesus Christ,  who is a  love match sent from  Heaven.  If He is with us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).  When we put God first in life, He will cause all things to work out for our good (Romans 8:28).   Even our love life will grow and prosper when God is left in control!  However, we must remember, God is more concerned with our spiritual condition than our physical wants and desires.  When we seek and serve Him in all our ways,  He makes our paths crooked path straight (Proverbs 3:6).  

Nothing is too difficult for God (Jeremiah 32:17).  Nothing is impossible for God (Luke 1:37; Matthew 19:26).    Seek His wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, and all will go well with your soul - mind, will, and emotions (Proverbs 2).  God alone  will meet all our needs (Philippians 4:19).   For God alone  is our blessed hope and eternal future  (Jeremiah 29:11).
